Miguel joined ICCP Venture Partners in 2020. He has over 15 years of experience in fund management, financial advisory, and corporate banking.  As a venture capitalist, he built an extensive network in Europe and Southeast Asia by focusing on ecosystem building, regularly appearing at events and sharing his thoughts on his Medium channel.

In his career as an investor and venture builder, he has completed over 60 deals and co-founded 8 companies including an early stage venture fund in Germany. In 2017, he moved to Berlin to establish Unifier Ventures, which provided family offices and corporates from Southeast Asia with access to technologies in Europe. Prior to that, he was leading financing and investments for Novel Capital, a pioneering multi-family office in the Philippines, where he initiated the foray into private equity and venture capital.

He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the AsiaBerlin Forum. He is also a mentor for the Berlin Founder’s Fund and the Enpact Empowering Entrepreneurship initiative.

Miguel graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering and a minor in Finance. He participated in intensive training courses in London with HSBC’s Group Graduate Development Program and in Singapore with ANZ’s Risk Analysis and Deal Structuring Bootcamp.

Tom joined ICCP Venture Partners in 2008.  He is also a Managing Director at Startup Capital Ventures (www.startupcv.com), an early stage Menlo Park-based venture capital firm and Managing Director and co-founder of PacRim Venture Partners (www.pacrimpartners.com), a Menlo Park-based venture capital firm. Tom started his career at Bank of America.

In his career as a venture capitalist that has spanned more than thirty years, Tom has invested in early stage IT, cleantech and healthcare companies. He has served on boards of directors of a number of public companies such as Hanwha Q CELLS (NASDAQ: HQCL) and UTStarcom (NASDAQ: UTSI) as well as numerous private companies. Tom’s current and past investments include SunPower (NASDAQ: SPWR), UTStarcom (NASDAQ: UTSI), White Electronic Designs (NASDAQ: WEDC, acquired by Microsemi), LifeCell (NASDAQ: LIFC, then acquired by Kinetic Concepts), SyStemix (NASDAQ: STMX, then acquired by Novartis), Physiometrix (NASDAQ: PHYX, then acquired by Hospira), U-Systems (acquired by Hologic), CafePress (NASDAQ: PRSS), and FastSoft (acquired by Akamai). 

Tom graduated from Northwestern University with B.A. and MBA degrees. He taught the New Venture Finance course at San Francisco State University’s MBA school, and he is a regular volunteer panelist for the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce’s Job Forum.

Ed joined ICCP Venture Partners in 2003. He has over 35 years of management and technical experience in US technology businesses in various roles. Since 1982, Ed has been developing technology, managing technology firms, investing in technology start-ups, or founding technology startups. He is a serial inventor – author to 11 patents to date – and has a sharp eye for disruptive technologies. 

Ed was the CEO and Co-Founder of Newmoon Systems, an enterprise software company which was acquired by Tarantella, a division of Oracle. He also co-founded Audible, the pioneer and leading provider of spoken audio content on the internet which was acquired by Amazon.

He currently serves as the President of Phizzle, and is also a member of its Board of Directors. Ed is currently a Board Observer of Popular Pays. He was the former Chairman of TuneIn and served on the boards of FastSoft and BioImagene.

Ed holds both a Master of Science and a Doctorate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Mathematics from New York University.
