WILLIAM M. VALTOS, JR.
Investment Committee Member
A principal of ICCP Venture Partners, Inc., President of ICCP Venture Partners, Inc., IVI, and IVI II, and Executive Vice President of ICCP.

Prior to joining the ICCP Group, Mr. Valtos was Managing Director of Strategic Asset Management, Inc., a Chicago-based private direct investment firm managing over US$600 million in assets. Mr. Valtos is responsible for all functional aspects of venture capital and private equity asset management including global deal identification and screening, due diligence, deal structuring, transnational legal and tax considerations, on-going monitoring of investments, and evaluation of exit strategies of investments. Mr. Valtos also has extensive experience in workout and distressed situations. Mr. Valtos has served as President and Director of American Molding, Inc. and Phoenix Products Corporation and currently served as a director of State/Delaware Corporation and Pacific Press Technologies.

Mr. Valtos received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Economics and Political Science from the University of Illinois, earned a Masters of Management Degree from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and studied corporate law at Yale Law School. Mr. Valtos also pursued post-graduate studies in Chinese History & Philosophy at the University of Chicago.
